Love like God

“Though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God.”

Philippians 2:6 NLT

Need more patience? Drink from the patience of God (2 Peter 3:9).

Is generosity an elusive virtue? Then consider how generous God has been with you (Romans 5:8).

Having trouble putting up with ungrateful relatives or cranky neighbors?

God puts up with you when you act the same.

“He is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked” (Luke 6:35 NIV).

Can’t we love like this?

  1. Loving like God is what we are to do here on earth…. some of us fail, but some of us succeed. It is all a test to see how much love we put into what we do. God bless.

    1. Trying to get the tangles out of my hair today was a real test. I’m afraid I said a lot of ugly things, but then I said “God, I’m sorry, and I want to trust you to help me with this mess”. So . . . you see, it’s even in the little things, which seem really big to us in the moment, that we love God by “trusting Him” to help with ALL things. And, of course, He does help. Mostly He helped me by calming my mind from time to time so that I didn’t hyperventilate as I was crying. First time in my life to have really long hair. Really hard to keep the tangles out! So . . . even though this sounds really funny, it was exasperating, and I was praying a lot even in the midst of the hair storm! LOL Blessings, Noel. It’s so good to hear from you!
