Kicked Down the Rabbit Hole

There once lived a man in a tiny village in Germany. He was obsessed with building a tomb for him and his family for after he died. He spent years and years preparing the plans, searching for the best masons he could find to contract for the construction of his eternal tomb.At some point, he began construction on the tomb. Up and up it went, stone by stone.

One year the man’s first born son died. The man, sad that his son didn’t live until the tomb was finished, put his son’s body in the tomb.

Years passed, and the man still built. Up and up, stone by stone.

One year the man’s daughter died. The man, sad that his daughter didn’t live until the tomb was finished, put his daughters body in the tomb.

Years passed, and the man still built. Up and up, stone by stone.
